It is fairly obvious that I cannot get enough of nude looks, especially in the fall. This look especially, with the nude turtleneck, is inspired by Kim Kardashian. When I saw this merino wool turtleneck from Gap, I instantly thought of Kim, who I always look to for fashion ideas and inspiration. I see a lot more turtlenecks on the shelves this season, which I think is great for everyone’s closet. Growing up in Brazil, I never wore a turtleneck, but when I saw them in America, I thought they were chic and sophisticated. A great thing about turtlenecks is they can be dressed up or down and worn with a variety of clothing. In this case, I paired the sweater with black pants and brown pig leather boots, both from Zara. For the colder days approaching, I also wore a lighter shade nude coat from Zara. Layered with the slightly darker turtleneck, this coat complements this outfit perfectly. This is another style lesson I have gained from Kim Kardashian- the art of tone on tone. Generally, a coat like this can go with any color throughout the season and would be the perfect go-to in your closet for the coming months.
