I always wanted to go to Mexico since I moved to the U.S. I went down there with two other friends to spend Labor Day Weekend. Let’s start with the weather, it was just perfect! Super hot, but a nice hot. As soon as we arrive in Mexico we get ourselves margaritas at the airport and head straight to our hotel to change and go enjoy the beach. We had an amazing view from our balcony and waking up with the view every morning was not bad at all. The first two days we just stayed at the hotel enjoying the food and nice drinks while swimming in the ocean.
The best part of the trip was going to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Chichen Itza. It was so beautiful and surreal, it took our breath away. We had our private guide that showed us around and explained the history behind the Maya civilization. It was a long ride to get there (about 3 hours from Cancun) but totally worth it. If you ever go to Mexico, I highly recommend to go to Chichen Itza. It will take your breath away and you experience something different.
For my whole trip I chose to wear light clothes because of the heat. Most of my shirts that you see in my pictures are from Zara, (Black Silk, Stripped Navy blue,) Forever21 Men (Chichen Itza stripped shirt). And all my other stuff are vintage pieces.
